After moving from a 4 bedroom, 2 story home complete with formal dining room, wrap-around patio, enclosed sauna/hot tub, full basement completely furnished for a guest living space to a small, 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor, needless to say the sticker shock was quite a change what with no more mortgage, taxes, escrow, repair costs, maintenance plans, mowing the huge yard, trash pickup and the hundreds of other tiny lifestyle decrees that make home ownership "special."
This is our journey with our small 2-bedroom palace. I have great hopes for this place until it's time to move on. :)
